The Hubby and I made it down to WoofStock on the 2nd Day (Sunday), and I was armed with my Camera, determined to Snap away

One would think being surrounded by Absolute Cuteness for a Pet Photographer would be like Winning the Lottery, right??? WRONG. I played with the Dogs more then I photographed them!!  Oops LOL

But you will see from the Photo’s I eventually captured, it wasn’t my fault…and it would take a Heart of Stone not get caught up in the snuggles and Face washes from the largest collection of Toronto’s Dogs….I was in Heaven….

It was PACKED, full of People and their Dogs. What a great turn out

It was 30+C, fortunately they allowed the Dog’s to play in the Local Fountains… Complete with Rubber Duckies!!! I wanted to climb in with them LOL So Hot. They also had watering stations and water bowls everywhere.

There was a FASHION SHOW!!! OMG. So glad we were able to catch some of it. You can see the rest of these images on my Website Blog

And of course….The CUTENESS… LOL

It makes me sad that my guy Tyson is too old for the trip, heat, and crowds. He wouldn’t have faired well… and any un-necessary stress at 14+yrs old just isn’t worth the risk.

But it was a great day, we enjoyed ourselves very much! I have the rest of the photo’s in an album posted on my FaceBook Page  if you’d like to see them…

Homer and Squishee are honoured to take part in the new PurrLove! 8 Paws in the Air..Whoot!

“Cats are considered fairly independent, and much easier to have as Pets”. The people that came up with that saying have not met these two!

“Quirk(s)” is a great descriptive word that comes to mind. And in speaking with other Cat parents, I’m not alone. Pets have such individual personalities, and when you have a few Pets “Living together in Harmony”, the combination can make for some interesting moments!

Granted they don’t require daily walks like my Dog Tyson, where we are BOTH subjected to what can only be referred to as “Canadian Weather”…they are always in the house. And they make sure we are aware of that when ever possible!

Even while Tyson and I battle the Elements …we look up and there are Homer and Squishee sitting nicely together watching us from the window. Pretty sure they are mocking us, it’s much more believable then a daily interest in the Dog’s Bowel Movements. “We’re Dry and Warm….How’s that going for you?” *grumble*

Squishee, 3 year old Blue Scottish Fold, Female

And Homer, 5 year old Domestic Short hair, Male

They do have the unfair advantage of having a Pet Photographer as their Pet Mom, they are my Muses

There is one final reading left to remove the BSL from Ontario.  For those who don’t know, any “bully breed” in Ontario born after 2005 can be euthanized under current law.  If you live in the Toronto/Ontario area, we need you – will you show up and stand up for the thousands of pets that have lost their lives?

Happy 5th annual Pit Bull Awareness Day, everyone!

Created by Jodi Preis of Bless the Bullys, “the National Pit Bull Awareness Campaign is a nationwide effort to bring positive awareness and attention to the American Pit Bull Terrier“.  If you have ever read this blog, you probably already know that we are very bully-friendly around these parts.

Recently, my good friend Vanessa of VBV Photography headed out to a rally for Hershey’s Bill against BSL in Ontario. She took some amazing photos, which I have been saving to share with you guys… until today!

On her blog post about the event, Vanessa says:

Before you judge, ask yourself, have I owned a Pit Bull, Known a Pit Bull, Saw a Pit Bull Attack…. NO? Then who told you to be afraid, likely the media? The same people who chase you down to make ratings when your home just burnt to the ground (personal reference) or that it will rain tomorrow…and you get a sun burn for listening? Make up your own mind, through education, and stand up for the 10, 000 dogs that have died under this law since it was passed in 2005.
