As a Pet Photographer, I volunteer my Photography skills to Abbey Cats when I can.
They are a network of Cat lovers in the GTA that rescue Cats and Kittens from High Kill Shelters and place them in Foster Care, never to see a cage again.
After everything that has happened and all the Bad Press about the Toronto Humane Society and the Newmarket OSPCA, a lot of people don’t know where to turn, or which Rescue is the real deal anymore.
If you are ever looking to Adopt or Donate your Time/Funds to a Cat Rescue, this is a great one! I’ve seen those wonderful women in action first hand. They hold Adopt-A-Thons, I’ve been to some of their Foster Homes to take photos for their website. They even allowed me to go to CP24 in Toronto with them to take photo’s “Behind the Scenes” while they were on Animal House Calls. They do great work, and make a real difference in these sweet Kitties lives!!! 
You may consider them first and know you are getting the “Real Deal” in a No-Kill, Animals First, Not for Profit Organization.
